Student Grievance Redressal Policy at Punjab Group of Colleges

The Punjab Group of Colleges is committed to fostering a student-centric learning environment that prioritizes the prompt, equitable, and transparent resolution of student concerns. Our policy actively encourages students to articulate their grievances without fear of discrimination or reprisal, ensuring that all concerns are addressed with the utmost sensitivity, confidentiality, and in strict adherence to established institutional protocols.

Grievance Redressal Mechanism

The institution employs a transparent and effective Student Grievance Redressal Mechanism designed to address a comprehensive range of issues, including those related to academics, administration, and personal well-being. This formal process is dedicated to ensuring the fairness and timely resolution of all student grievances while strictly maintaining complete confidentiality throughout the process.

Types of Grievances Addressed
  • Academic issues (e.g., evaluation, attendance, exam-related matters)
  • Infrastructure-related concerns (Labs, Classrooms, Common facilities, Utilities etc.)
  • Harassment, discrimination, or bullying by felloe students/seniors/staff
  • Fee-related issues and administrative delays
  • Service related issues such as University, Library, Tansport problems and Other Grievances etc.
Procedure

The student can register grievance through any of the following modes :

  • Step 1: Written Complaints to to the head of the concerned department
  • Step 2: Written complaint to the Chairperson, GRC (If not resolved by the Head of Dept or Grievance cannot be shared by the student with the Head of Dept). Or Email Communication vía pgcstudentwelfare@gmail.com Or Online registration of the grievance on the institute website
